Thank you for visiting Fairy Tails Dog Training and for taking the first step towards building a special relationship with your dog using positive, reward-based dog training methods which are scientifically proven to work.
So, a little about me…
Well I have been lucky enough to learn from the best! I am a fully qualified VSA-CDT (Victoria Stilwell Academy Certified Dog Trainer), I received extensive training across a 6-month program with Victoria Stilwell and her experienced faculty team.
I am a fully qualified and certified Separation Anxiety Behaviour Consultant, qualifying with coaching and assessment from Julie Naismith, the expert in separation anxiety.
I am also a fully qualified and certified Kids Around Dogs trainer. KAD is a national network of approved trainers who have been hand picked to deliver the Kids Around Dogs training protocol to families and children who need support to live safely and interact fear free with dogs.
I am a fully accredited Dynamic Dog Practitioner which means I am trained to carry out in-depth functional assessments on dogs to highlight areas of potential discomfort. This discomfort could be the cause or a contributing factor to behavioural issues. I offer this service to behavioural clients but as a collaboration with other dog professionals who may need additional insights into a behavioural case they are working on.
I have lived with dogs all of my life and currently live with Pip, a 5-year-old Chihuahua cross who I rescued in 2019 and Connie, a 2-year old Boxer.

PUPPY POWER PRIVATE TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Bringing a new puppy into your family is an exciting but overwhelming time. There is a window of opportunity to start off on the right path and my Puppy Power programs are designed to support and guide you through this time and help you cut through the conflicting and confusing advice found online.
I offer three comprehensive programs which include advice, support and training and all of this combined will give your puppy THE best chance at becoming a calm, confident, happy and well-behaved member of your family.

RAPID RECALL PROGRAM
Does your dog go deaf as soon as the lead comes off? Are you fed up of embarrassing situations and are starting to dread walks? Would you like your dog to have more focus on you when you’re in the park?
If so my successful 5 step Rapid Recall training program is for you. We will work through each step of the plan together and ensure the methods are tailored to you and your dog.

SETTLED IN SOLITUDE PROGRAM
Does your dog bark, howl, chew or demonstrate other destructive behaviours when they are left alone or without a significant person present? Chances are they have separation anxiety. Having a dog that suffers with separation anxiety can cause huge stress for you and your dog. It limits your life and theirs. Often you learn to live with it because tackling the issue can seem too daunting or you may have previously looked for help only for it to fail but the reality is separation anxiety does not improve without intervention.
My comprehensive and supportive behaviour modification programs offer training based on your individual dog’s diagnosis and are fully supported every step of the way.
I also offer puppy separation programs where we will teach your puppy that being alone is ok.

REACTIVE TO PROACTIVE PROGRAM – MANAGING YOUR REACTIVE DOG
Having a dog that reacts inappropriately in the presence of another dog is hard to deal with. Walks become limiting and stressful and you can often feel embarrassed by how your dog is behaving. Often you learn to live with it because tackling the issue can seem too daunting or you may have previously looked for help only for it to fail.
This comprehensive and supportive program offers training and management based on your individual dog’s diagnosis and is fully supported by a week by week progressive program.
PUPPY TRAINING CLASSES
My Little Stars puppy class is designed to show you how to teach your new puppy key life skills and help them interact appropriately with other puppies in small and manageable groups.
My Puppy Power Online Academy allows you to train your dog in the comfort of your own home using my suite of simple, step-by-step videos.
KIDS AROUND DOGS
This program is suitable for children from around age 4 to 10 years of age who are scared or dogs. It has been designed to help children understand about dog body language, know how to interact with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs, and how to stay safe around them. I can also help with hints and tips to ensure children and dogs live harmoniously together.
